  grim stained-minds they hover

 With rime dressed-faces  wander

  they ever be free of their sins
 
 May  stars become my eyes
 And the wind  my hearing
  them guide us through
 These pitch-dark mornings
 
 May  snowfall end
 And the shining moon 
 So  can find our way out
 From  all-consuming nights
 
  the blanket of stars
 Embraced by another  night
 Two round-shouldered figures
  these shores behind
 
 Quietly they wonder
 If they ever  see the light
 They now lose in  shadows
 Owe to the darkest  nights
