 Today seems like my lucky  with everything I do
 
 It  off this morning when I stopped to tie my shoe
 
 And what do you suppose I spied on  ground right by my side?
 
  lucky four-leaf clover coming through
 
 Everything is going my way  I feel inclined to say
 
 Today     is  lucky day
 
 I took  Daddy's shovel and I stuck it in the dirt
 I worked that  gently out so it would not be hurt
 Then in that hole, beside a root, I  a lucky rabbit's foot
 and put it in  pocket of my shirt
 
 I dug a little deeper, I was almost 
 
 I kind of had to laugh at the box  lucky charms I'd found
 
 There was more cool stuff down deep  some rocks
 
 A horseshoe, a lucky penny and a pair of  socks
 
 Today must be my lucky  I feel it in my soul
 and if I keep on digging  might even find some gold
 But deeper on I realize, maybe this was not too 
 Now I'm stuck way down here  this hole
