🎵 Luyện Nghe Bài Hát: O Fortuna - Gregorian

 O Fortuna
 velut luna
 statu variabilis,
 semper crescis
 aut decrescis;
 vita detestabilis
 nunc obdurat
 et  curat
 ludo mentis
 egestatem,
 potestatem
 dissolvit ut

 Sors immanis
 et inanis,
  tu volubilis,
 status malus,
 vana salus
 semper dissolubilis,
 obumbrata
 et velata
 michi quoque
 nunc  ludum
 dorsum nudum
 fero tui

 Sors salutis
 et virtutis
  nunc contraria,
 est affectus
 et defectus
 semper  angaria.
 Hac  hora
 sine mora
 corde  tangite;
 quod  sortem
 sternit fortem,
  omnes plangite!

 English Translation

 O Fortuna
 like  moon
 you are
 ever waxing
 and waning;
 hateful life
 first oppresses
 and  soothes
  fancy takes it;
 poverty
 and power
 it melts them  ice.

  – monstrous
 and empty,
 you  wheel,
  are malevolent,
 well-being is
 and  fades to nothing,
 shadowed
 and veiled
 you plague me
 now through the
 I bring my bare
 to  villainy.

 Fate  against me
 in health
 and virtue,
 driven on
 and weighted
 always enslaved.
 So at this
 without delay
 pluck the  strings;
 since Fate
 strikes  the strong man,
  weep with me!
