Vậy xin đóng góp 1 kiểu dịch khác (Mod thông cảm cho newbie) Trước hết hãy nhìn đoạn sau: "Her husband, was a hard working man Just about a mile from here His head was found in a driving wheel But his body never was found" Nghe có vẻ giống như 1 mẫu thông báo nhỏ: "Anh A (chồng chị B) là 1 người chăm chỉ, sống cách đây 1 dặm. Một hôm, người ta phát hiện đầu anh ta bên cạnh 1 cái bánh xe... Và cho đến nay thì phần cơ thể còn lại vẫn chưa đươc tìm thấy." Bài hát là lời của anh A, và anh A thì đã chết, ta suy ra đấy là lời của 1 hồn ma. Hãy lắng nghe âm điệu của bài hát, đầu bài là những câu hỏi, những lời than vãn ai oán, và cuối bài là những tiếng gào thét như muốn báo thù. Vậy chứng tỏ chị B (nhân vật YOU trong bài, vợ anh A) là thủ phạm, hoặc ít nhất là tòng phạm trong vụ án giết anh A. Động cơ có lẽ là ngoại tình. Sau đây xin dịch sơ vài đoạn (từ đầu bài) Em...Em....Đừng lừa dối tôi nữa Hãy nói thật đi, em đã ở đâu đêm qua... Trong rừng thông tối tăm, Nơi ánh mặt trời chưa bao giờ chiếu rọi, Anh đã run rẩy suốt đêm dài... (Có lẽ xác anh A bị vứt trong rừng thông) Em... Em... Em sẽ trốn nơi đâu?
