Beverley Craven (born 28 June 1963, Colombo, Sri Lanka) is a British singer-songwriter, best known for her 1991 UK top 5 hit single, "Promise Me". Her most recent album, Close To Home, was released in 2009.
Beverley's first break was a brief stint in the late 80's touring with soul legend Bobby Womack and then thanks to Go West’s manager, John Glover, she secured a major music publishing deal with Warner Brothers. Followed by a development contract with Epic record label. She went on to record with Paul Samwell-Smith (Cat Stevens, Carly Simon and All About Eve).
