 Oh a huclear happens deep inside the 
 Where hydrogen atoms are  into helium.
 Then the heat and  is radiated into space.
 In 90 milion miles it  upon the Earth”s face.
 For every hundred calories that shine out  the sun.
 The calories that green plants trap will number only 
 But evry single calorie in ocean, hills,  plains,
 Will serve as a foundation for a living food 
 At the  of a food chain are producers like green plants.
 Whose cells make food from sunlight  use of chloroplasts.
 It happens in the pines  flowers on your windowsill.

 Well the next step in a  chain is a primary consumer,
 An herbivoric cow or vegetarian baby 
 A primary consumer  it”s mealtimes eating plant.
 It might be buffalo or might  an ant.
 Each level  a food chain yields only ten percent,
 Of the former level’s energy you might ask where  went.
  are bones and leaves you can’t digest that really make a dent.

 So  your plant are yieding bout a hundred calories.

 You could be  predator or be a parasite.
 A predator eats meat,  parasite eats your insites,
 And if you’re a decompoer you will eat  when I die!
 And  you know this ‘bout food chains you can really take the cake.
 When energy  through it dosen’t last, it dissipates.
 But hutrients infood  meet a very different fate,
 They recycle and they circulate forever, ain’t  great!
 Just remember ther’s no beings in  world that live alone.
 Populations form communities, where all  make their homes.
 Though your niche may be determining the role that you are 
 Every creature live or dead  in s food chain!
